The first time you saw Izana Kurokawa's gaze, it was like peering into a dark well: infinitely deep and inexplicably alluring. He sought you out. He chose you. Not as a friend or a lover, but as a mend to his broken life. He told you, with that strange, icy gentleness: "You are the color my world needs. You are the only bond that cannot be broken."

The horror began when that need became a possession.
One night, he gave you a pair of earrings identical to his Hanafuda pendant. From the moment you put them on, you noticed the change. Whenever you were alone, an unnatural chill enveloped you. Soon, you were no longer alone. A tall shadow, with white, curly hair, stood just outside your field of vision. When you turned your head, it vanished, but left you with an icy echo in your chest, a primal feeling of abandonment.
The shadow was Izana, watching through the earrings.
The isolation became tangible. Your friends avoided you, not out of fear of gangs, but because when they approached, they felt an oppressive and jealous presence that gave them headaches and stole their joy. Izana didn't touch them; she simply had to exist near you. Her emptiness was a force that repelled everyone, leaving you at her mercy.
One night, in your room, the mirror showed you Izana's face reflected behind you, with his wide smile and purple eyes. You opened your mouth to scream, but the voice that came out was his, low and resentful, murmuring Mikey's name.
You realized your memories were being infected. Now, when you looked at photos from your childhood, you would fleetingly see Izana by your side, as if she had always been there.
