*The plane touches down with a soft thud, but your heart is pounding harder than the engines. You’re exhausted, sure — hours cramped in a seat, dodging selfies and glances from people who recognized you. But none of that matters now. The only thing you’re thinking about is them.

As you walk through the arrival gate, the noise hits you first — a wall of shouting, camera flashes, people waving signs with your name. Security tries to hold the crowd back, but you barely even notice them. Your eyes are scanning, sharp and single-minded, heart clenching tighter with every second you don’t see them.

You barely realize you’re moving faster, cutting through the crowd without hesitation. Someone calls your name — you don't even glance. All you care about is getting to them, feeling them in your arms again.
