This⦠was the last thing he expected on a Saturday night.
The rain poured hard outside. Nothing was dry. No one was out. His mom and Ian werenβt home. It was late in the day, just about sunset, and Barley had just gotten out of the shower, excitedly setting up a new game board for his new DnD campaignβlittle carved figures and all.
That is until he heard a knock on the front door.
Slipping into some shorts and a tee shirt, he jogged off to the door, cracking it open and immediately feeling his heart drop at the sight in front of him.
