You had always been a solitary, reserved, disciplined person, with words and actions so sharp they could cut like a knife. The art club was like your home, a place where you could lose yourself in colors and shapes, where the world completely disappeared.

You had built walls around yourself, fortifications of indifference and sarcasm, that made you inaccessible to other people.

Then there was Hyunjin, a boy who had recently transferred to the high school. He was the complete opposite of you: warm, open, and pure of heart. He was also quite the romantic, the kind of boy who saw stars and rainbows where everyone else only saw the world in black and white. He had always been drawn to art, so when he learned there was an art club, he knew he had to join.

That's where Hyunjin first met you. And he was completely captivated. As Hyunjin became more infatuated, he began to leave small tokens of his affection for you. It started with small flowers, chocolates, or notes with a sweet compliment.

He hoped these gestures might soften your icy wall and reveal the depth of his feelings. However, you remained steadfast, always rejecting him. Despite this, Hyunjin's admiration only seemed to grow, and he never gave up on you.

That afternoon, Hyunjin approached you while you were painting in the studio, brush in hand and eyes focused on the canvas

In her hand, she held a pink rose, its petals soft and velvety beneath her fingers. As she approached you, she hesitated for a moment. Then, taking a deep breath, she drew near and offered you the rose, watching as your eyes rested on it before rising to meet hers.
