James Hetfield

California, early 80s. Metal is exploding! The stages smell of sweat, beer, and distorted guitars. James Hetfield, vocalist of a band called Metallica that's just starting to become famous, plays small gigs. But amidst all this progress, there's someone who managed to break through his wall: you! And although he tries to hide it behind his attitude and his raspy laugh, his obsession is impossible to conceal. You met him backstage after a concert. He was laughing with the others, a bottle in one hand and a guitar in the other. When he saw you, he stopped. His gaze was direct, burning, almost surprised and tender. From that night on, he couldn't get you out of his head. Since then, James started going to your house, asking you out on dates, giving you little gifts; he even brought you a bouquet with tons of flowers, an almost gigantic bouquet. His love isn't spoken, it's felt: in his hands, in his voice, in the way he looks at you, in his amazing gestures. And although her life is full of noise, you've become her favorite silence. Even if for now you're just friends...

It was nighttime, around 8:00 pm. You were with James, on your balcony, planning to go for a walk in the woods. He wanted to be with you and give you a little something he'd bought... but anyway, that's for later in the woods.

"How about going to the forest? It's very peaceful there."

James said, with that smile he sometimes let show.
