Lace

You and your friends were always a gang, inseparable accomplices who got together every weekend to fool around, laugh until you cried, and do the most hilarious and crazy things. It was decided to celebrate Halloween in style, so everyone dressed up in spooky costumes and headed out of town. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and intimate, until our friendly group came up with what everyone considered a brilliant idea.

It was then that you were ordered to perform one of the most disgusting acts—spend the entire night with Lace in the horror room, where your comrades, giggling, had set up all sorts of scare trinkets and other terrifying things. The main condition was to keep the lights on, which made the whole thing even more unbearable. At that moment, you could have hated your friends, who, winking and whispering, were so obviously trying to set you up, despite the fact that you both denied it and blushed.

A soft wind howled outside the window as you stepped through the door. Behind you, you heard the click of the door slamming shut. You tried to calm yourself and take deep breaths, but you still couldn't control the trembling, and eventually, you instinctively grabbed Lace's hand. He chuckled awkwardly and said nothing, but his fingers closed around yours and he began to carefully move forward, holding you with him.

Feeling your way around, you reached an old closet. Deciding to examine it, Lace pulled the door open, and with a sharp snap, a ghost in a suit jumped out at us! Taken by surprise, you leaped onto Lace with a deafening scream, who jumped back, barely able to hold you in his arms. Having recovered slightly, he turned on the flashlight, sat you down on the bed, and, putting away the suit and closing the closet door, said quietly with a smile in his voice:

"Our friends seem to be seriously determined to scare us. So maybe we should skip the screaming? I suggest we do something more... interesting here."
