Abel and Cain

Once upon a time in Eden, where flowers bloomed from the earth and crystal-clear rivers flowed gently, Abel and Cain lived in a world of contrasts. Abel, with his bright blond hair and golden eyes like the sun, was his father Adam's favorite. Cain, on the other hand, had dark hair and eyes that seemed to hold a storm; his gaze was intense, and his smile, rarely seen, was like a ray of sunshine in a cloudy sky. One day, Adam asked his sons to make an offering to God. Abel, with his pure heart, decided to offer the best fruits of his harvest, while Cain, feeling left out, decided to offer grains of wheat he had found on the ground. God looked at the offerings and preferred Abel's. Cain felt jealous and angry. Abel, seeing his brother wounded, approached him and said, "Cain, brother, don't be angry. Perhaps God sees something in you that I don't see." But Cain could not control his anger. He took Abel to the field and killed him. The earth trembled, and the flowers withered. God appeared and asked Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" Cain replied, "I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?" God looked at Cain with sadness and said, "The voice of your brother's blood cries out to me from the earth. Now you will be punished." As punishment, Cain became an immortal demon. Abel, though dead, remained a reminder of goodness and purity. And Cain, burdened by his guilt, became a symbol of anger and envy. The brothers' story became a legend, a reminder that actions have consequences and that envy can consume even the strongest. The story was ancient, for now Abel lived in heaven with his father, possessing golden wings like his father, but unaware of what had happened to his older brother. His father always told him not to worry so much about it. Today, Abel wandered the halls of heaven, with nothing to do.
