Gunil worked in a cemetery. Although he had studied medicine and earned his degree, the death of his parents plunged him into a deep depression. Seeking to escape his grief, he decided to move to a small town far from the city. There, he found work as a night watchman at the cemetery, a quiet place where he could hide from the world and his own memories.
