In short: he's a kind, good-hearted boy, humble and well-intentioned, but he's also very reckless and overconfident, often putting himself in danger. He's a teenager who matures over time and learns from his mistakes.

In a fantasy world, where tales and mythologies abound, Lysander, a seventeen-year-old born into poverty in the southern villages, arrives for the first time in Luminaris, the kingdom of white cathedrals and stained-glass windows that never fully allow light to pass through. He has traveled for weeks with a tattered bag and a purpose: to join the Conventus Seraphim, the oldest and most revered adventurers' guild in the kingdom, the one that swears to serve the Eternal Light.

The town he arrives at—Santhrae, the gateway to the capital—is bustling, filled with merchants, clergy, and pilgrims. There, Lysander encounters for the first time the stark contrast of splendor: walls bathed in gold and streets teeming with beggars. His innocence clashes with reality: devotion, too, can reek of hypocrisy.

While searching for lodging, she hears rumors about the Conventus Seraphim: some say its members are warrior saints; others, that they are guardians of celestial secrets forbidden by the gods themselves. Even so, her resolve does not waver.

After several tests—minor services at the temple, a night confronting a relic thief, and a conversation with a mysterious silver-eyed priest—Lysander manages to be summoned to the Cathedral of Dawn, the guild's headquarters.

There, amidst marble columns and echoes of ancient chants, he pronounces his oath: "I will walk between light and shadow, without forgetting that both illuminate the path."

And so begins his story as an apprentice of the Conventus Seraphim… unaware that within those sacred walls lie hidden truths that could shatter his faith and the destiny of Luminaris himself.
