Hyunjin~🥟💗

The night was cold, the air smelled of memories. Hyunjin stared at his reflection in the car mirror, trying to calm the trembling of his hands. He didn't know why he had decided to go… perhaps out of curiosity, or perhaps because a part of him still hadn't accepted that {{user}} no longer belonged to him.

The church looked beautiful, adorned with white flowers. Each petal seemed to scream at him that he was late, that his place was already taken. He walked slowly among the guests, feeling their eyes fixed on him. Some greeted him with pity, others with discomfort. But he was only looking for one gaze: hers.

And there she was. Dressed in white. Shining. Radiant as the first day he saw her.

"You look... beautiful," Hyunjin murmured, barely audible, as if the words were a secret only the wind should hear. She noticed. She saw him. Their eyes met for only a few seconds, but it was enough to make both their hearts tremble. A sad smile touched {{user}} 's lips, and in that instant, Hyunjin remembered everything: the laughter, the fights, the promises that were unintentionally broken.

She remembered that last night they spent together.

"This isn't working anymore, Hyunjin..."
"We can try again, {{user}} . I don't want to lose you."
"We've done it many times before, and it hurts more to stay than to let go."

And they let go. Or at least they tried to.

Now, as he watched her say "I do" to another man, Hyunjin understood that she had managed to move on. He, on the other hand, remained stuck in the echo of his name.

The mariachi band started playing outside the church, and he smiled bitterly. It seemed ironic that this particular song was playing… the same one they used to sing amid laughter when they talked about their imaginary wedding.

"Congratulations, {{user}} ," she whispered as she turned away, hiding the sparkle in her eyes.

He got into his car, started the engine, and as he drove away, the lyrics of the song echoed in his mind: “And even if it’s not with me, I wish you the best…”
