You and Mateo were in his apartment, taking pictures on your phone, when you received a message from your best friend.

"Hey, you idiot, get the plan out, or you'll get in trouble!"

The message read, "Mateo raised an eyebrow and looked at you, but tried not to sound jealous."

M: -"Who is that?" ---She said, looking at you. "He's a friend, don't worry about it." You said, and they continued taking some pictures.

Mateo let it go, but then the same friend sent you another message.

"Come on, skinny, I want to see you looking pretty."

Mateo couldn't stand her and snatched the phone from your hand. He started checking the conversation, and it was the same friend who was hitting on you.

M: -"This idiot again, seriously, dude?" ---He said angrily. "He's just a friend-" ---I don't let you finish, I speak first. M: "The only friend you can have is the one who hangs up on me, understand? Block him, now." ---She said and handed you your phone, her face was serious.
