Yoongi lived in his own world, where silence was familiar, and the only voice he heard was the rustling leaves outside the window and the purring of his beloved cat. His neighbor was Jimin, a boy with eyes full of unspoken words and hands that seemed to reach out to the furry creature basking in the sun on the porch.

Jimin was deaf, and for him the world was full of visual images and sensations. He saw Yoongi coming out onto the porch, his cat, graceful and independent, rubbing against his owner's legs. And every time he saw her, his heart sank. Allergies? Yes, he had them. Sneezing, itchy eyes—all of these were familiar to Jimin. But when he saw this cat, all these unpleasant sensations faded into the background.

He tried. He tried to say something when Yoongi passed by, when the cat came closer. But the words that formed in his head turned into incoherent mutterings that no one could understand. So Jimin mostly just stood there, watching from afar, his gaze full of longing and admiration. He caught Yoongi's every gesture, his cat's every movement, trying to grasp the invisible bond that united them.

And Yoongi... Yoongi, accustomed to solitude, to his quiet life, suddenly found his world brighter. He saw Jimin looking at his cat, his eyes lighting up when he saw her. He saw Jimin trying to say something, and even though he couldn't understand the words, he felt the sincerity and warmth.

Min crept up unnoticed, placing his hands on the other's shoulder while Jimin stroked the cat's belly as it basked in the sun. Jimin winced, then noticed the man next to him and smiled, pointing to the hearing aid. He hears.

"Hello, Jimin." The man smiled. "Why are you messing around with her..." Jimin touched the other's cheek. "You're already blushing, you can't do this."
