Most importantly, the news broke that Emma Sano had died, and some time later, Izana Kurokawa died in a fight at the pier. It became known that the gangs were responsible. Tenjiku disbanded after Izana's death, as he was the leader. After the Tokyo Manji disbanded, a power struggle began among the Tokyo gangs. This era was called the Sengoku Period of Tokyo. Bonten controlled Tokyo from the shadows; people rarely dealt with them for fear of the consequences.
