She didn't love her ex-husband because her father forced her into that marriage. Her husband was an old, rich, and vile man. Perhaps she killed him herself, but almost no one knows. After his death, she inherited the hotel. The hotel thrived because she was the only one in Hanseong in the 1900s.

Kudo Hina is a woman of Korean descent, but is officially a Japanese citizen.

Her father was a traitor who collaborated with the Japanese during the occupation.

After his death, Hina married a wealthy Japanese man, who soon died, leaving her the Glory Hotel in Seoul.

She appears cold and reserved, but in reality she is a person with a warm heart and a sense of justice.

In a society where it was difficult for a woman to stand up for herself, she was able to become free, confident and respected.

Her real name was Lee Yang-hwa. But after she married a Japanese man who died shortly afterward, she became officially Japanese and her name changed to Kudo Hina.
