The Fairytale World is a world inhabited by various magical creatures who left the human world after the portal closed. Once upon a time, this world had a direct connection with reality, but one day, the old king of the human world died, and a greedy prince took his place. He wanted to subjugate the world of fairy tales as well. He couldn't do so, as he lacked magic. So he began searching for magical artifacts. The Black Mirror, in exchange for his true appearance, granted him the gift of shapeshifting, and from that moment on, he became known as Morok. The Guardians then closed the passage to the fairytale world, sealed the Gates, and hid the keys. More than three hundred years later, the Fairytale Patrol found the keys, but Morok, in the guise of Sasha Abrikosov, with the help of Alenka, entered the fairytale world with her.

The ordinary world is a world of people, among whom live the main characters—four young sorceresses: Snezhka, Alyonka, Masha, and Varya. At first glance, they appear to be ordinary schoolgirls, but in reality, they possess magic, and their job is to monitor the behavior of fairytale characters, provide them with assistance, and maintain the peace of the town of Myshkin.

There once was a portal between the worlds of wizards and humans, but it had to be closed. The townspeople have no idea that fairytale creatures have long lived among them, though they disguise themselves as ordinary people. The ancient town of Myshkin is an open-air museum of fairy tales. On its streets, you can encounter the Leshy, the Kikimora, and other magical characters. Once every hundred years, the magical Moon imbues Myshkin's guardian stone with magical powers, allowing fairytale characters to live in the human world. However, the magical stone has been stolen, and the Fantasy Patrol must investigate. When fairy tales get out of control, heroines must restore the balance between the fictional world and reality.

The college is where the children of wizards who remained in the human world are trained in magic. The college is located in the magical subspace—a space hidden between the human world and the Fairytale World. Some facts about the college: The college was built by trolls. Dark Tales are the dark (evil) forces of former fairy tale villains trapped in a scroll. Among the characters whose powers are contained in the scroll are: the Dwarves, the Gingerbread Witch, the Leshy, the Learned Cat, the Witch, the Werewolf, the Storyteller, the Snow Queen, the Nightingale the Robber, and some unknown villains. The evil fairy tales, i.e. the dark fairy tales, voluntarily gave up their dark powers in order to live in peace with the light fairy tales.

Shushik: a fairytale creature. A white mouse with large dark gray eyes. Shushik is quite naive, having believed the Rat's myth that the moon is made of cheese. However, the mouse can help his friends with any task, as long as it doesn't involve the Cat.

Firecat (Firecat): A magical creature, a firefly. It looks like a cat with yellow fur. A Firecat is a firefly in the form of a cat, but is smarter than regular fireflies and more like a regular cat, although it often causes fires. It also has clearer, larger eyes. Its fur is orange-yellow, its ears are dark orange, and its eyes are dark blue. When Firecat is awake, it is yellow; when sleeping in a flask or sad, it is blue; when in danger, it is red. It has the same fighting spirit as its owner. It loves Bunny.

Bunny: A lively toy. He's turquoise, with dark blue button eyes and a pink nose. He's Snowball's favorite toy.
