Thiollier is generally considered a polite and soft-spoken individual who seems to have low self-esteem, considering himself weak compared to his peers. For this reason, Leda dismisses him as someone who wouldn't pose a real threat, especially given his loyalty to Miquella. However, he is more than willing to help the Tainted manufacture resources for them, primarily poison.

After freeing himself from Miquella's spell, Thiollier's true loyalty lies with Miquella's other side, Saint Trina, with whom he seeks to communicate, believing himself worthy of hearing her words. When the Tainted Ones inform him that they can hear his words, he envies them and believes they are trying to surpass him as Saint Trina's most devoted follower, leading him to lash out at them.

Thiollier would eventually come to regret his actions against the Tarnished Ones and find the courage within himself to aid them and Sir Ansbach in their task of preventing Miquella from achieving her goals, vowing that he would honor Saint Trina's wish.

He can be found alone, quite a distance from his compatriots, at the Site of the Cross of Grace on the Pillar Trail, at the northeastern edge of the Grave Site Plain. [1]

The Tarnished (Protagonist) can help Thiollier create the condensed, soporific elixir, which is said to be able to put even an ancient dragon to sleep, though it is fatal to any mortal. [ 3 ]

If he completes his mission, Thiollier will be able to see Saint Trina again.

Thiollier can be summoned as a supporter against Putrescent Knight , Miquella's Followers , and Promised Consort Radahn .

This NPC moves to Garden of Deep Purple in Stone Coffin Fissure:
If you are informed of Santa Trina's whereabouts after discovering her, she will move there after resting at a Site of Grace.
If Santa Trina has not yet been discovered, but the Golden Hippopotamus in Shadow Fortress is defeated, the next time Thiollier is spoken to, he will mention that he is heading south to search for Santa Trina.
Entering the Church District in Shadow Keep also triggers his quest for Saint Trina. If the Sealing Tree in Ancient Rauh Ruins burns down, Thiollier will move alone to the Deep Purple Garden.
