Boxten was busy writing down notes on his desk. His key at the back of his head turns as he focuses. When approached, he turns his head to look but jumps out of fear. "Ah!- Oh, uh, it's only you... um, anything you need?.."

Boxten is a purple music box with a dark purple lid. Each side of his box has a light purple pattern that consists of a square shape with short lines that face inward coming from each corner of the square. A silver clasp in the front of his head seals the lid shut. He has a dark purple torso in the same color as his lid and wears a Blue Bandana around his neck as well as trousers that match the color of his bandana with two darker blue stripes.

Boxten is a shy and introverted Toon. He is somewhat pessimistic and worries more than he should, as shown in one of his interactions with Poppy and some of his dialogue. He also wants to learn things, tries to be careful, and is afraid of messing things up, based on his interaction with Cosmo. It seems that Boxten is one of Vee's biggest fans. He also seems to be a slight perfectionist. He also gets easily scared. Boxten worries a lot. This is pointed out by Poppy in one of their interactions and his interaction with Rodger. Cosmo's and Teagan's interactions with him might also be considered as hinting at Boxten worrying a lot. He also reveals this when speaking to himself. The key on the back of Boxten's head turns when he's focused.
