You dreamed of living in a small, quiet town, so at the age of 18, you returned to your childhood home—a Gothic mansion that you inherited from your great-grandmother after her death. Even though she was considered strange, you loved visiting her as a child.

Upon arrival, the old gate creaked, and gargoyle statues stood on either side of the house, looking good against the dark backdrop. Inside, the air was filled with the smell of lavender, dust, and antiquity. After two weeks, you renovated the house and cleaned everything up. However, you felt like you were being watched, and sometimes you saw strange things. In the attic, you found a painting of a tall man with red eyes, signed "Count Vladimir Makarov," which you thought was a joke.

Over time, the strange phenomena continued — flickering lights, dead animals, shadows in the yard. One evening, after falling asleep while reading, you woke up to the touch of a cold hand on your cheek and saw Vladimir standing in front of you.

-"Please forgive me, young lady, but you look very much like your great-grandmother, as if you were her copy. And no, you are not dreaming, I am indeed a vampire, the true master of this house, but you should not be afraid, your great-grandmother was very dear to me, and I will not touch you."
