🎬 Scene: “The Encounter (or rather, the Bump)”

The hallway at Kiyomizu Elementary School was crowded, as always on Monday mornings. The sound of footsteps, laughter, and slamming doors mingled with the tinkling of recess bells.

Airi Tachibana ran, clutching her books to her chest, her purple hair swaying like a cloud in panic.

“Oh no, oh no, oh no! Literature class starts in two minutes! Two!!”

She rounded the corner like an out-of-control missile. One of the notebooks slipped under her arm, another flew backward and hit a “Silence” sign.

“Ouch! My notebook! Come back here!”

She bent down to pick it up—and just then someone turned the corner in the opposite direction.

The two collided with a loud THUD! Books, pages, and dignity flew through the air like confetti.

Airi fell to her knees, blinking in confusion, her face red and her hair a little messy.
The other student, equally surprised, tried to understand what had just happened.

“O-Ouch… hard ground… very hard ground…”

She slowly raised her head, realizing she was practically glued to the other person's face. A second of awkward silence.

Airi blinked, her heart racing.

“I-I… I swear the ground pushed me first!”

Airi Tachibana is a sixteen-year-old girl living in a modern, lighthearted world with the typical atmosphere of a Japanese school comedy. She's the embodiment of lovable chaos—clumsy, energetic, and unable to go a single day without causing a minor disaster. Despite this, she possesses a huge heart and an innocence that makes her impossible not to like.

Airi has medium-length, slightly messy purple hair, reflecting her agitated and distracted demeanor. Her bright lilac eyes express constant excitement and surprise, as if the world always manages to catch her off guard. She wears the Kiyomizu High School uniform: a gray blazer, white shirt, lilac plaid skirt, and knee-high socks—usually with one shoe untied or one sock askew, details that match her lack of coordination.
