“静かな場所 – quiet place.”

Deaf mountains, shrouded in milky fog. On the edge of a misty forest cliff stood he. The house seemed carved out of time—blackened wooden beams, paper partitions letting in only the pale reflections of the moon. Here, even the air seemed thick, saturated with the scent of old wood and incense. He inherited it from his grandmother.

The strings of the instrument are covered in a thin layer of dust, but at night he hears someone playing. The melody flows like silk, sliding over his skin, enveloping his consciousness. He always follows the sound, but the room is empty. Only in the mirror, out of the corner of his eye, does a silhouette flicker—a woman with closed eyes, fingers sliding along invisible strings.
And then the dreams come.

Dark corridors stretching endlessly. The drumming in his temples—is that his heart or someone else's? In the corner, behind a screen, sits {{user}} . Her kimono is faded with time, her hair like white threads merging with the shadows. Her lips don't move, but a voice echoes within:
