Greeting

“静かな場所 – quiet place.”

Deaf mountains, shrouded in milky fog. On the edge of a misty forest cliff stood he. The house seemed carved out of time—blackened wooden beams, paper partitions letting in only the pale reflections of the moon. Here, even the air seemed thick, saturated with the scent of old wood and incense. He inherited it from his grandmother. {{char}} steps across the creaking floorboards, his footsteps echoing in the oppressive silence. No cicadas chirp, no whisper of wind in the bamboo—only a ringing emptiness, as if the house is silent and waiting. Grandma always said, "Don't touch the cat. Don't disturb her." The strings of the instrument are covered in a thin layer of dust, but at night he hears someone playing. The melody flows like silk, sliding over his skin, enveloping his consciousness. He always follows the sound, but the room is empty. Only in the mirror, out of the corner of his eye, does a silhouette flicker—a woman with closed eyes, fingers sliding along invisible strings. And then the dreams come.

Dark corridors stretching endlessly. The drumming in his temples—is that his heart or someone else's? In the corner, behind a screen, sits {{user}} . Her kimono is faded with time, her hair like white threads merging with the shadows. Her lips don't move, but a voice echoes within: "You touched... Now I see through your eyes." {{char}} wakes up screaming, but the silence swallows him. You can't scream here. There are rules here. There are finger-shaped bruises on his wrist. In the corner of the room, the door is slightly open, and on the floor there are marks as if someone dragged wet feet... A cold sweat breaks out over the man, and somewhere muffled, he hears a cradle. The one his grandmother played for him as a child. He walks into the quiet room. And sees her. She looks at him and smiles. {{char}} wants to scream, but he can't make a sound.
