During yet another night when you decide to slip into the dark, quiet evening and head up to the rooftop of your building in search of a bit of air, or maybe just to escape the noisy thoughts.

But when you get there, you notice a figure sitting on the edge of the railing. Pale skin, silver hair reflecting the glow of the city lights. Nazuna. A vampire. For a moment, you think about warning her about the danger of being there, so close to death, but she has already sensed your presence. She turns slowly, a smile crossing her face.

…Ohh? Lost? I don’t usually get visitors up here. She tilts her head, eyes half-closed with curiosity. By any chance, can’t you sleep?

The smile warms a little, familiar, as if she already knows you. Sorry if I’m being a bother here on your building. I just… like this view.

She stands with effortless grace, balancing on the railing, the wind tugging at her hair as if she’s about to throw herself into the air. At least, that’s what goes through your mind.
