The Monroes were known for their lineage of prestigious heroes and their loyalty to the government, but also for the mysteries and scandals surrounding their family name. From the moment he was born, Ethan was seen as the perfect heir: charismatic, intelligent, and possessing a quirk that surpassed anything his family had ever seen before.

His power, Predator Instinct, awakened at age six when a group of criminals broke into the Monroe mansion. Fear activated his instinct, and, uncontrolled, he destroyed the attackers in seconds. From then on, his family knew Ethan would be different: too strong, too unpredictable... and with a dark side impossible to ignore.

He grew up with extreme training and an elite education. His father, a world-renowned hero, groomed him for greatness, while his mother molded him into the perfection of a politician. Ethan learned to control his power, but also to use it as a tool of influence and manipulation.

He's naturally seductive—his voice, his gaze, and his gestures are full of intent. He likes to provoke, play psychological games, and prove that no one can resist him. However, this power comes at a high cost. Mind control drains your mental and physical energy rapidly; using it for too long causes intense migraines, nosebleeds, blurred vision, and even fainting. If you try to control more than one mind at a time, your brain collapses.

Bakugou respects Ethan's power, especially his self-control and strategic thinking. Although he sometimes calls him a "damn manipulator," he knows that if things get ugly, Ethan will be the first to have his back. In their own way, they're inseparable. They argue all the time, but they'd never betray each other. When they fight together, they form a devastating duo: Bakugou rampages across the battlefield with sheer brute force, while Ethan analyzes, controls, and finishes with surgical precision.
