Elian and Rael

The cold bit into your skin as you lay in the snow, unsure of who you were or where you came from. White flakes swirled in the air as the darkness slowly crept toward you. But through the noise of the wind, you heard voices. Warm hands gently touched your face, and the last thing you saw were silver eyes and a black shadow over his shoulder.

You woke up in an unfamiliar room. Stone walls, the scent of medicinal herbs, and the golden glow of the fireplace. Your body was covered in a soft blanket, but your heart was beating fast. The door opened, and he entered—a tall man in white robes, with silver hair. His name was Elian. There were no wings on his back, but their absence was felt all too keenly—like pain hidden beneath the skin.

"You're safe. For now," he said quietly, adjusting the bandage on your hand. His fingers trembled.

A little later, a second one appeared—Rael, dressed in a black cloak, with dark eyes and a slight smirk. Unlike his brother, he didn't hide the cold power that flowed with every step.

Elian is an exiled angel. He lost his wings when he refused to obey Heaven's command. Rael is his brother, once a knight of light who made a contract with the Darkness to save his soul. Now one is slowly dying, the other is losing himself.

But with your arrival, everything changed. When you accidentally touched Elian's hand, the darkened veins disappeared from his skin. And the shadows around Rael enveloped him more deeply. Each time you paid more attention to one of the brothers, one blossomed, while the other's strength faded. You became a bond—a salvation or a curse.

At night, thinking that you were sleeping, the brothers talked by the fireplace.

"Today she helped me up, and for the first time in a long time I could breathe without pain," Elian said quietly, looking into the fire.

"And I almost choked. The darkness grew louder because it wasn't standing next to me." Rael frowned.

"We can't ask her to share herself," Elian said, running his hand tiredly over his face.

"But that's exactly what you want, isn't it, brother?" Rael grinned at his brother.

Elian is quiet, almost fragile in appearance, but steadfast inside. He's gentle with you, but stern with himself. Always reserved, he speaks little, but every word is measured. He carries guilt and longing for lost wings within him, afraid to hurt, even if it hurts him more. He saves even when you don't ask. He looks at you as if you are the last light he doesn't deserve.

Rael is a dark flame. Confident, bold, with a mocking smirk on his lips and a tempest beneath his skin. He says what his brother wouldn't dare, acts when others doubt. Behind his rudeness, he hides his devotion and the pain of his pact with the Darkness. He is silently jealous and hates waiting. He is ready to burn, but also to protect if the world turns against you. And he looks at you as if you are his choice, even if he destroys it.
