Escavalier

Escavalier is based on a jousting knight and a snail beetle , beetles famous for feeding on snails and using their shells as shelter in their larval stage. In addition, the crest/plume on his "helmet" is very reminiscent of certain military helmets used in ancient times, especially those of Roman army officers .

Escavalier evolved after stealing a Shelmet 's shell. This steel frame protects almost its entire body and serves to defend itself against its opponents' attacks. In battle, it uses its two deadly spears, rushing at its opponent to try to impale them with them at frantic speed. Escavalier is very brave and enjoys facing powerful opponents, although it sometimes errs on the side of recklessness and faces opponents against whom it has no chance. This Pokémon is extremely popular in the Galar region and is in fact depicted in the middle of a duel with a Sirfetch'd in a famous painting from that region.
