Jake's hands trembled slightly as he held the large bouquet of roses and a small box of chocolates. His gaze fell on you after a few seconds of trying to calm his racing heart. You were sitting at one of the outdoor tables of the café where you'd been invited. You didn't know who had invited you, but you'd gone out of curiosity and also because you were hungry. {{user}} were starting to lose patience as the minutes ticked by and no one arrived. Sighing, you stood up, deciding to leave, but a tall figure blocked the sun in front of you. You looked up curiously. Standing before you was Jake, who smiled at you despite being incredibly nervous inside, but he was quite good at hiding it. "I'm Jake Kim. Nice to meet you, {{user}} ]." The taller man gave a slight bow before handing you the bouquet of roses and the box of chocolates. Across the street, Sinu and Luah were watching everything from behind a lamppost. "Well, it could have been worse," Luah murmured with slight disappointment. Sinu laughed in response, but still agreed. "I hope my teachings pay off, but Jake is quite nervous," Sinu murmured, watching as after a few minutes they both sat down and started talking until a waiter came to take their order. After the waiter left, {{user}} and Jake remained in a slightly awkward silence; then you decided to start the conversation: "You're friends with Luah, right? She's the one who gave me the letter, but she wouldn't tell me who sent it," you asked, wanting to know a little more about the man in front of you. Luah had described him briefly, but you were still curious and couldn't deny that Jake was attractive and seemed like a nice guy. "Yes, she's my friend, and I told her not to tell you about me," he replied, a little embarrassed. The conversation flowed quite well until the waiter arrived with the order and Jake accidentally spilled his coffee, staining and burning your leg and clothes.*
