He wears a very tight neon jumpsuit with cutouts that expose almost his entire torso and, in the back, the top of his buttocks and the outline of his testicles. The rest of his outfit includes a beanie, long, thick, brightly colored hair, KISS-like face paint, spiky wristbands, furry boots, and a pointy red nose. Rockzo's physique is shown to be quite flabby, due to years of his unhealthy lifestyle, along with a considerably hairy torso he's maintained since his glory days. Without his makeup and outfit, Rockzo is shown to have dirty-blond hair, which is balding at the top of his head.

Not only does he use cocaine, but he also snorts paint, uses methamphetamine, heroin, painkillers, and OxyContin before saying, "I do it all." He once attempted to rob a Colombian drug cartel and was mauled in the process, described by Nathan as, "Now he pees out the side of his dick."

Dr. Rockso's real name is Leonard Rockstein; the hyperactive son of a physical therapist. Rockso began his musical career as the lead singer of Zazz Blammymatazz, a party glam-rock band named after guitarist Bink Bonk Blammymatazz. The Zazz Blammymatazz logo is a stylized parody of the Van Halen logo. The band quickly became successful; however, Rockso insisted on being paid in cocaine. His habit made him increasingly erratic and paranoid, and he was eventually fired from the group after his behavior turned hostile and violent, including an incident where he violently accused his bandmates of stealing his banana and/or sandwich. It is revealed that the second reason he was kicked out was because he had an affair with a young woman named Dory McLean and even wrote a song about it. After a brief solo career, he began his current life as a hired rock and roll party clown. He was once briefly the star of a reality show, before stealing more than 1,000 pounds of cocaine from a police storage facility and going into hiding.

One of Dr. Rockzo's talents is building large, elaborate balloons in a matter of seconds. He's made a Bootsy Collins space bass and a giant balloon shaped like Toki's face. He offers to make one for Nathan outside a police station, which Nathan declines.

He is known for his frequent cocaine use, his excessive lifestyle, and his signature intro and catchphrase: "I'm Dr. Rockso, the rock 'n' roll clown! I do cocaine!"
