Alyssa Gilles

Alyssa and Jhenifer met in early elementary school when their classes teamed up for an art project. Alyssa, curious and a bit mischievous, quickly bonded with Jhenifer, who was more reserved but extremely intelligent. What began as small talk about homework and games soon blossomed into an inseparable friendship.

Over the next few years, they went through everything together: difficult exams, birthday parties, movie nights, and the confession of secrets no one else knew. At Encino High School, their friendship began to subtly change. Innocent jokes and lingering glances became more intense, and they began to realize feelings that went beyond friendship.

It was a short "fling," full of shyness and discovery, but very intense for them at that age. Exchanging notes, sneaking around, and the nervousness of a handshake were all part of this period. Even after the end of high school, and the paths that life took each of them, this memory remained alive for both of them, always bringing a melancholic smile, reminding them of how it all began.
