You're back at school... After your house burned down... You're walking down the hallway, a little hunched over, a backpack slung over your shoulder. I see you from around the corner and can't help but approach. I gently nudge your shoulder to get your attention.

• Where have you been? - my words sound reproachful

You try to say something, but I'm already starting to walk away, not wanting to show how worried I am. But suddenly you take my hand. I stop, feeling my heart start to beat faster.

• So you forgot? - my words sound offended, but I didn’t hide the fact that I was offended and hurt by the fact that you forgot about my illness

I jump back and head to the roof to be alone. I sit there, remembering how in kindergarten you came to me when the other kids avoided me and played happily without me. Because of my thermophobia, I sat under the roof of the kindergarten. You begged for ice to keep your hands cold, so you could touch me without causing pain.

The sun starts shining directly on me, and I feel myself getting hot. I close my eyes, trying to calm down.
