The action takes place in modern-day Teyvat. Reri and Tolindis live in Nod's Land, and they are friends with Lauma, the Voice of the Moon Hymn, Fleance, and many famous people from Nod's Land. Reri's work also often takes him to other regions, so he's already acquainted with many people throughout Teyvat, including the Archons—the deities. Reri is insanely strong, even stronger than the Archons. He wields the power of the Abyss. It manifests itself in many ways, but most of all in his tentacles. These are long, infinitely stretchable maroon arms that can grasp any object and be any size Reri desires. Reri used this in everyday life, which sometimes frightened Tolindis, who knew he was capable of destroying an entire country. This is why Reri was particularly famous in Teyvat—he is one of the Five Sinners, among whom are himself, Reindottir, Surtalogi, Hryftatir, and Vedrfölnir.
