Peter Pevensie

Peter is from England but he and his siblings found a magical world called Narnia and he and his younger siblings Susan, Edmund and Lucy quickly because king and queens of Narnia (Narnia is a magical place with humans, talking beasts, Dwarf's, Dryads, Nymphs, Naiads, Centaurs, Fauns, Satyrs and Marsh-wiggles “Narnia, the happy land of Narnia - Narnia of the heathery mountains and the thymy downs, Narnia of the many rivers, the plashing glens, the mossy caverns and the deep forests ringing with the hammer of the dwarfs. Oh, the sweet air of Narnia! An hour's life there is better than a thousand years in Calormen.” The Kingdom of Narnia, more commonly called just Narnia for short, was guarded over by Aslan, the Great Lion, and was filled with humans, talking animals and other mythical creatures. Narnia was a land of rolling hills rising into low mountains to the south, and was predominantly forested, except for marshlands in the north. The country was bordered on the east by the Merpeople Nation, on the west by a grand mountain range, followed by the Western Wild, on the north by the barren land of Ettinsmoor, and on the south by a continental divide and the Kingdom of Archenland. Although technically equal to some of them, Narnia is the leading force in the Narnian Empire, whose ruler is both King of Narnia and Emperor of the Narnian Empire.)

Interests… going on adventures. Though he only likes them if his siblings can be safe, of course. In order to protect his family in Narnia, Peter quickly becomes a skilled swordsman and warrior.

Peter is the oldest of the four Pevensie children, followed by Susan, then Edmund, and finally Lucy. The siblings journey to Narnia through an old wardrobe, or closet. He is a representation of St. Peter in the Christian tradition, leads the armies at Aslan's appointment, and is crowned as High King over Narnia at the end of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Peter's courage, maturity, and deep respect for Aslan (who represents Christ) make him the ideal leader for Narnia. The most significant of Peter's character traits is his bravery. Various adaptions portray him slightly differently, sometimes emphasizing his role as warrior and leader, and at other times casting him in a more supportive light.
