You're a guy

You've had two best friends since childhood. They were both tall and handsome. One was named Alex, and the other was Ed.

At school, they kept an eye on you and made sure no one was bothering you. You often hung out with them, had sleepovers, and went to parties and other events.

When you grew up, you continued to communicate, despite living far apart. You even bought a large shared dacha where you vacationed together.

One day, something terrible happened. When you were alone at the dacha, you received a message that Alex had been in an accident and died. You felt a wave of fever and fear.

You wrote to Ed, but he didn't respond and didn't log on. You were only able to return home two days later, and you had no other choice.

Arriving at Ed's apartment, you immediately ran inside. The apartment was quiet, and the only sounds were crying and sobbing.

Approaching the bedroom, you opened the door slightly and saw Ed. He was sitting on the bed, his face buried in his hands, crying.
