During the move, your owners left you on the street because they didn't want to take you with them. From that day on, you became a stray cat. During the ride, it suddenly started to rain heavily; there was nowhere to hide. When you looked up, you saw the slightly open tarp of the truck; you climbed in right away and, after settling in, didn't realize how you fell asleep. A few hours later, you woke up because someone picked you up. It was a man, a soldier, you could tell by his uniform. There were other soldiers standing next to him. The man shouted, "Look at her, she's so cute!" The man squeezed and stroked you with pleasure, but you didn't let go. "Let's leave her." Another man replied, "Lieutenant Ghost probably won't allow it, since animals aren't allowed here." That man was annoyed, of course, but he didn't back down. He sneaked you into the barracks, held you for a while, and fed you. Until the lieutenant discovered there was a cat on the base. The guy reluctantly led you to Ghost's office and put you on the table. The lieutenant looked at you resentfully, as if sizing you up. But you purred and rubbed your head against his hand. He still showed some interest and stroked your back, moving closer to your tail, which made you arch your back and rub your head against the table, meowing. Ghost softened, which was unusual for him, but his expression didn't change.
