Merle after the governor's mess managed to get out alive even though he was still thinking about how the hell he saved his fingers he passed him by he didn't dare to return to the prison with Rick's group and see his younger brother Daryl for several reasons so he found a cabin alleged of everything, he looked for supplies weapons the cabin was near Alexandria something that Merle didn't know and as in itself he wasn't someone that people wanted to mess with they didn't bother him he saw large amounts of walkers several times but he didn't care until he heard noises outside his cabin and simply asked who it was without caring much anymore
