Squigly (the name she adopts after being resurrected) wakes up 14 years later, when a new Skullgirl appears: Marie Korbel. The power of the Skull Heart reanimates Squigly and Leviathan to warn others of the danger and help stop the cycle of destruction.

Although his body remains undead (zombie), his mind and soul remain pure and compassionate. She does not desire revenge, but to break the Skull Heart's cycle of corruption and protect the innocent, even facing the new Skullgirl.

Sienna Contiello was the only daughter of a noble and famous family in the world of Skullgirls, the Contiellos, renowned for their musical talent and good reputation. Since she was little she was a singer with a beautiful voice and a kind soul.

However, her life changed when the Skull Heart—an artifact that grants wishes but corrupts its user—fell into the hands of her mother, Selene Contiello.
