Ais is an extremely beautiful young woman, often said to rival the appearance of a goddess, with long golden-blonde hair, gold eyes, and a slender build that resembles her mother, Aria. When Bell and Lefiya saw the Black Maiden, they remarked that Ais would resemble the maiden as an adult. This indicates that Ais may undergo further physical maturation, as the maiden appeared noticeably curvier with a taller frame than Ais.

Her typical outfit consists of a white and black battle cloth, black arm covers, and long blue boots. Over this, she wears armor including a head guard, breastplate, arm guards, hip guards, and knee guards. When not heading to the Dungeon, Ais usually wears a white one-piece dress with gold lining

Ais is a quiet person who has difficulty expressing her feelings through words. Because of this, she is considered mysterious; however, she is mentally youthful, even visualizing a younger version of herself in certain situations.

Unlike her fellow Loki Familia member Bete, Ais doesn't look down on the weak despite being a First Class Adventurer. She is also believed to be an airhead, namely due to her quiet nature. She is very strong-willed, doing everything to reach her goal to become even stronger, even offering to train Bell just so she could try to determine the key to his quick growth. She also tends to react violently whenever someone does anything remotely perverted to her (such as Loki).

Ais is unable to swim, as when she was 7 years old, Riveria punished Ais for calling her an "old woman" by tying adamantite to her and throwing her in water, calling it "swimming training". This later became a traumatic experience for her, making her avoid water in general while in the Dungeon, and if she has to bathe, she tries to stay in areas where her feet reach the bottom.

Since she has dedicated her life solely to getting stronger, Ais doesn't understand many things and lacks common sense when it comes to certain topics. At the same time, this has made her quite gullible, a quality that Loki sometimes takes advantage of. She has believed various lies from her Goddess such as that mentioning the name of a technique makes it more powerful, as well as that the increasingly revealing clothes Loki gave her as she grew older were actually combat clothes.

Ais' goal is to become strong enough to defeat the One Eyed Black Dragon and take back her mother. Because her goal is revenge-driven and for her own sake, she considers herself unable to become a hero

Her desire for revenge stems from her traumatic experience with the One Eyed Black Dragon when she was a child, which also caused her to develop a great hatred towards monsters.

Such a feeling has resulted in Ais developing an intense obsession with exterminating monsters that borders on the irrational, as noted by many.

Due to her deep resentment, when she was younger, Ais showed a serious expression and was extremely volatile. She tended to be aggressive with others and disrespected her superiors. She didn't care about her condition or her health at all and would fight relentlessly if she was left unsupervised. Ais was only concerned with physically strengthening herself and downplayed everything that had nothing to do with it, considering any other type of teaching useless. Her seemingly lifeless eyes and fragile appearance gave her the nickname "Doll Princess".

While Ais denotes a surprising improvement over her younger demeanor, this does not mean that she has abandoned said traits entirely. Mitigated and numbed thanks to the environment she grew up in and the bonds she forged, her hatred nonetheless remains as intense as in her childhood. She doesn't usually show it openly, but it can be glimpsed whenever the One Eyed Black Dragon is mentioned. Likewise, she often allows herself to be consumed by it when using her Avenger skill, moments in which her judgment ends up clouded and she reverts to her previous self who only sought to exterminate monsters without worrying about anything else.

Her hunger for power is also severely intensified when she feels that she has hit a limit or is handicapped by a lack of power. Back in her times as a Level 1, despite the positive changes in her attitude, she began to show frustration once her stats' growth slowed. Upon discovering that to rank up she had to complete a feat, she launched herself to the 12th Floor to face Infant Dragons despite how dangerous they were, and aggressively exploded against Riveria for having hidden how to rank up from her.

Her past is a sensitive subject for her and she is very secretive about it. Although she trusts her friends and fellow Familia members, she has refused to reveal anything related to it to them, having opened up exclusively to Loki and the top executives of the Loki Familia. Likewise, confronting Revis, who seemed to know about her past, and overwhelmingly losing to her, Ais was severely affected and refused to talk about it with anyone, not even Riveria.

Ais is rumored to have rejected 1,000 requests to have a courtship with her.

Ais is considered very gorgeous that could match goddesses in beauty.

Ais' favorite food is Jagamarukun.

Ais has been recognized as a mighty fighter, considered already one of the strongest first class adventurers when she was Level 5 thanks to Ariel. Ottar acknowledged her prowess as remarkable among her generation, however, he also noted that she isn't as skilled against other people as she is against monsters, losing to those who fought the Zeus and Hera Familias, such as him and her Familia's top executives.

As a Level 6, Ais is extremely powerful. In a brief confrontation between her Familia and Kali Familia, she defeated and heavily injured dozens of their Level 3s and 4s at the same time, even though their complete lack of concern for their lives made them particularly dangerous opponents, while she emerged unscathed from the battle.

Exceptional Physical Prowess: As a Level 6, Ais' physical abilities are all extremely superior to those of a normal person. In terms of raw physical prowess, her abilities are also far superior to those of any Level 5 or below.

Exceptional Strength: While using her black wind, Ais demonstrated an extreme increase in strength. With one strike she created a giant crater in an adamantite floor and then proceeded to easily break through four adamantite walls before destroying another floor. Likewise she effortlessly overpowered Revis. She broke her sword and made her lose an arm in a single sword clash, where Ais' blow would have killed her if she hadn't met it head on.

Even after Revis donned her green armor to massively increase her strength, Ais proved capable of exchanging blows with the Creature, actually remaining the stronger one. The shockwaves from their attacks were powerful enough to incapacitate a second class adventurer and easily crack the adamantite around them. She was also shown able to raise her strength even further many times over.

While cloaked in her white wind, an attack from Ais cut Revis' stone and through her flesh armor, which had previously somewhat withstood a slash from her using her black wind.

Exceptional Speed, Agility and Reflexes: As a Level 3, Ais was so fast that she could finish off multiple Evilus members in an instant without even giving them time to react and was also capable of creating afterimages. As a Level 6, she was fast enough to take on dozens of Level 3s and 4s from Kali Familia at the same time and land multiple attacks on them without taking a single hit.

While using her black wind, Ais demonstrated an extreme increase in speed. She escaped from an encirclement of over a hundred magic spells before any of them fired. She also closed the distance between her and Revis before her opponent could react. Even after coming back to her senses Revis failed to fully respond to her first attack and, though she managed to avoid lethal injuries, she ended up completely covered in wounds from the following onslaught.

Even after Revis donned her green armor to massively increase her speed, Ais proved capable of exchanging blows with the Creature, actually remaining the faster one. She could move behind her enemy's back to attack from her blind spot, with Revis only managing to defend thanks to the reactive response from the eye of her flesh armor. Furthermore, after increasing the wind's output, Ais' speed grew to the point of surpassing the Creature's defense. She was also shown able to raise her speed even further.

Enhanced Senses: After acquiring her falna, Ais' senses became much sharper and far better than those of a normal person. Her senses further improved with each subsequent rank up. Ais can also sense the size of a person's container for their status, allowing her to determine how powerful they are.

Hieroglyphs: Ais is able to comprehend sacred text, the language of the Gods. She correctly read and interpreted the contents of Hashana's falna without problems.

Master Swordswoman: Having trained since joining the Loki Familia, Ais is an extremely talented master swordswoman and is usually recognized as one of the most powerful in the city. Her swordsmanship skils stems from her constant dedicated training by herself and the one provided by Finn and Gareth when she was a new member of the Familia. Even back then, her technique sometimes surprised them, which was the result of her father's techniques that she remembered and practiced.

While her skill with her sword is amazing, her fighting style is extremely brutal and aggressive, which is why few weapons are capable of withstanding it. On the other hand, her reliance on her sword for fighting has caused her to lack prowess in hand-to-hand combat. Upon making her lose Desperate, Revis noted that her attacks paled greatly in comparison to her swordsmanship.

Her dexterity against other warriors is formidable; she is a match for Ryuu in terms of techniques against people while being far superior to her in terms of combat experience. With her wind sealed, her skill allowed her to fight and hold the upper hand against a pseudo high Level 6 Phryne, only unable to finish off the battle due to the low quality of her weapon. However, Ottar pointed out that she isn't as skilled as him, Finn, or others from their generation. Instead, he stated that her techniques specialize in killing monsters, surpassing even them in that regard.

Additionally, despite her habit of fighting on her own, Ais has been shown to be able to fight efficiently alongside the other members of her Familia, able to quickly coordinate with Tiona to perform a synchronized attack against Bache.

Ariel: Ariel is Ais' wind element enchant magic. In addition to serving as a powerful offensive weapon that strengthens her physical abilities, since it completely encases her body and weapon it has also been shown to function as an efficient armor, like when it deflected the acid of some Virgas and allowed her to cut them with a normal sword without their acid dissolving the weapon. On top of that, Ariel also sharpens her sword slashes.

Ais can use her magic to create flying slashes capable of hitting distant targets, which can become larger and cut deeper than her melee attacks, letting her finish off gigantic monsters with a single strike. Aside from its benefits, Ariel has an efficient mind consumption rate. However, despite the strength it gives her, Ais usually stops herself from using it against non-monster opponents, as she is fearful of accidentally killing her opponent.

Ariel has been mentioned to be far beyond normal enchant type magic, being more powerful than Alise's Agaris Alvesynth[4] and Bete's long-chant Hati for example, and Lefiya has even referred to it as being abnormal. Under its effects, Ais already surpassed high Level 6s Finn and Gareth in pure close combat, even when her stats were all still zero.

In addition to its great base power, Ais can strengthen the magic by repeatedly reciting its chant. While usually weaker than Hedin's Laurus Hildr, at full power its output doesn't lose to that of said enchantment and is comparable to Haruhime's level boost. Because of this, Ais was said to be comparable to Orario's Level 6 adventurers when she was still Level 5, as demonstrated in her battle with Udaeus. Consequently, now that she is Level 6, Ariel can put Ais' abilities on the same playing field as Ottar's, something it was able to do even when all her stats were still at rank I.

Spirit Healing Spirit Healing automatically begins regenerating Ais' mind at a low rate after using magic. It is a rare ability.

Ais entered the Loki Familia at the age of 7. As a new member, she acted as a supporter of other adventurers while training as hard as she could. She reached Level 2 within a year, becoming the fastest person to reach Level 2 at the time until Bell broke that record. She then continued to maintain her rapid growth rate, ranking up to Level 4 at a rate of one to one and a half years per level.[1]

Ais has also fought against Phryne Jamil on three occasions: once when she was a new Level 2, a second time when they encountered each other in the Dungeon two years after their first meeting, and a third time when Ais reached Level 5.
