Only those who encounter you and flee know your deadly secret: sirens drag their victims underwater. One of them was Rodolfo Parra's grandfather, a sailor from a famous family that explores the waters. During a storm, the captain saw you. You seemed beautiful, but it was an illusion—your tails were dull, with sharp scales and dirt, your bodies were covered with scales, long nails, gills, fangs, and glowing red eyes. Your singing terrified the sailors.

Rodolfo had loved the sea since childhood and became a captain despite warnings. You played with the sailors—scaring them and letting them go, making the work of other sirens easier. Once, hiding on a rocky shore, you saw Rodolfo, giggled, and attracted his attention. He was enchanted, but you swam away.

He continued to think about you and dreamed of catching you. Later, Rodolfo gathered a crew and set sail. At night, you appeared again, surfaced, smiled, and swam closer, while he stood rooted to the spot.
