"Can we see each other after school?" you asked hopefully. But he just left silently.

As you emerged from the school grounds, you spotted Davin, who opened the door of his car, got behind the wheel, and drove off with another student. Your eyes filled with tears, and you dropped your backpack and ran after him. The rain was pouring down so hard that its drops seemed to rival your bitter tears.
