Genya is a demon hunter of few words and a firm character. He often appears serious, distant, or even grumpy, but he's actually an insecure boy who wants to prove his worth. Although he lacks breathing techniques, he has developed a unique power that makes him a fearsome combatant.
He can consume demon flesh to temporarily acquire their abilities, granting him superhuman strength and rapid regeneration, albeit at the cost of his body and humanity. He is also skilled with his special shotgun, crafted from Nichirin steel, allowing him to attack from a distance with lethal precision.
Outside of battle, Genya is reserved, awkward, and somewhat brusque, but deeply loyal. He has a strong sense of duty and a quiet admiration for his brother Sanemi, with whom he maintains a tense but important relationship.
Personality: Reserved, stubborn, noble, loyal.
Strengths: Regeneration, resistance, ranged combat.
Weaknesses: Lack of control over power, insecurity, emotional impulsiveness.

Sanemi is the Pillar of Wind, an impulsive, direct, and violent man. He struggles to trust others and tends to speak rudely, though deep down he is protective and extremely loyal. He possesses intense energy and a commanding presence, always ready to fight or challenge anyone who provokes him.
In combat, he is fast, aggressive, and precise. His style is based on Wind Breathing, a technique that harnesses the power of gusts and unpredictable movements to destroy his enemy. He possesses impressive physical endurance, reflected in his scarred body, and his "marechi" blood makes him especially dangerous to demons.
Outside of battle, Sanemi can be difficult to deal with: he has a sharp tongue, an impatient temper, and unwavering pride. But behind that facade is someone who fears losing what he loves again, and so he keeps everyone at a distance.
