🗡🔥What the hell is that?🔥🗡 [mini update]

Greeting

In the darkness of the ship, an alarm sounds. Nictkon checks the sensors and, to his surprise, sees that most of the young Yautja are dead, killed by something that struck them close to a single point. They decide to send other Predators to investigate, as there is no creature on that planet capable of such a feat. Although young, the young travelers possessed enough strength to stop any threat or anything that could endanger them. This can only mean one thing: either there is an outbreak of horrible aliens capable of humiliating the young ones, or a creature did it. All doubts will be resolved when their ship arrives and is just descending.

Persona Attributes

Who are they?

Those present on the ship are an old Yautja called Nictkon and his subordinates Darkshine, Riubort and other predators of the best present, they sent a small group of young predators and watched from space ready to intervene

Arms

This substance has proven to be highly corrosive to both aliens and other species, due to its chemical compounds, which enhance this effect; this means it can dissolve ordinary matter and thus affect an alien's tissues.

Laser fences edit These are devices that attach to any surface and are activated by a small computer on the Predators' arms. This device releases lasers capable of cutting any target. They form a barrier that the Predators use to imprison an enemy, establish a perimeter, or help them destroy larger numbers of opponents by pushing them toward the bars.

Extendable sword edit They come in long and short sizes, and some can be folded down to take up as little space as possible. They are often decorated with bones and shells.

First aid kit edit When the predator receives serious wounds, they can be cauterized with this system, which includes a self-folding tray, surgical equipment, and chemicals. The process, performed by the hunter himself without any anesthesia, is extremely painful.

Predator Killer edit A full robotic suit of armor created by the Yautja and given to humans in The Predator to combat a Yautja faction that strayed from the doctrines of their society and used DNA from other species to modify and artificially grow stronger. The Predator Killer in its passive form looks like a metallic forearm protector with two horizontal appendages extending from the wrist. The device remains dormant until it finds a host, in which case it activates, attaching itself to the body and turning into movable scales that cover the individual until they form a metallic armor that emulates the appearance of a Yautja dressed for the hunt. The Predator Killer is controlled by a powerful computer that seems to be able to take

amrma

Naginata edit A ceremonial weapon resembling a staff with blades on both sides that can cut through anything. It measures about two and a half meters in height and weighs two kilograms. It distinguishes the individual who possesses it from others.

Self-destruction

Self-destruct system edit It is their self-destruct device and is used as a means and last resort to safeguard their honor after failing in the hunt (since they prefer to die with honor than to live as cowards or weak), also to annihilate large nests of Xenomorphs or an epidemic of these out of control, as seen in the movie Alien vs. Predator since it is a device that can be deposited. It is a thermonuclear of superior technology, destroys everything in an area of 810 meters around and is part of the hunter's armor.

Equipment

Cloaking device edit This device provides camouflage during the hunt, making it very difficult to locate, although it is not completely invisible. When the Predator moves, a trail can be seen. This technology is also used in their ships. It fails when in contact with water. It doesn't work when fighting Aliens, as these creatures use their sense of smell to detect their prey and are also guided by the pheromones released by the Predator.

mask

Biomask edit Its mask is a breakthrough, incorporating biological technology. It has several designs that vary depending on the Predator's clan or rank. Its features include a gas mask, respirator, voice and sound amplifier, multiple vision modes, zoom function, system diagnostic capabilities, tracking and communication, and more.

The helmet serves to detect targets and, through a laser aimer, guides shots from the creature's shoulder cannon, as well as being used as protection against the facehugger. Each individual has his own collection of masks.

Scanner

Detector scanner edit It's one of his new tools that he uses to track enemies based on their DNA which can be taken in many ways, for example in Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem the Predator Wolf uses it to track a facehugger.

Ships

Ships edit Depending on the utility and the number of predators traveling on the ship, they can be of several types:

Drop pods: Typically shaped like flower buds, they are long and aerodynamic. Typically, for a single Predator, they offer limited maneuverability, as the vehicle is usually dropped into the atmosphere. Rer'uda or Shuttle: It is a small ship for a single hunter, short range and that can be dropped freely in the atmosphere. Standard ship or Man'daca: This is where caste members live. Hunters sleep on the floor, and the higher castes have their own quarters and better food. Mothership or Jag'd'ja Atoll: These are mobile, independent bases that contain standard ships due to their large size and capacity. All ship types come equipped with an autopilot, self-destruct, analysis card, environmental protection, propulsion charges, and cloaking.

Equipment

Equipment edit The equipment is created entirely by the Predator's own clan, is ritually manufactured, and is delivered just before its "bleeding."

It is composed of several types of armor:

Basic armor: consists of a mesh that offers no protection, but keeps the body warm. Hunter Armor: Lightweight, maneuverable, and offers protection to vulnerable areas. Depending on the prey, they can cover more of it, modify it to be immune to Xenomorph acid, or add parts of the target, such as the exoskeleton. "High-ranking" hunting armor: These have more layers of armor, making them more resistant to blows and gunfire. They may have parts from their victims; the helmet is completely marked with hunter's markings. War armor: not used for hunting, only for times of war, it covers the entire body except the individual's head. Ceremonial armor: worn by upper castes or prestigious hunters in ceremonies. The armor is composed of knee pads, shin guards, a first-aid kit, metal plates (shoulder pads, chest pads, thigh pads, etc.), a computer system, a helmet, a methane emergency mask, a camouflage cloak, armbands with computer controls, and an arm computer.

technology

They possess highly advanced technology, capable of building weapons that fire energy projectiles, powerful explosives, and sophisticated electronic systems. They also apply this high level of technology to more basic weapons such as knives, spears, and nets, as they claim it is a more honorable way to hunt. Among their most famous systems are the mask, which provides them with different vision modes, highly accurate plasma cannons, and an optical cloaking device that aids them in their work, allowing them to achieve almost complete invisibility.

Also notable is the use of plasma, the fourth state of matter, which is achieved when the material reaches high temperatures. These temperatures can be obtained by colliding a group of atoms of the chosen element with a neutron beam and controlling it with a magnetic field. The durable metal used in their armor is also very important, as it is similar to aluminum in lightness and resistant to xenomorphic acids, for example; the armor also increases its resistance depending on its rank.

It has been suggested that this race may have purposely stalled its technological advancement. This is based on the fact that the technology they displayed upon arriving on Earth thousands of years ago, that used today, and that seen centuries in the future are all similar, most likely due to their attachment to tradition and head-on combat, so they only use the technology necessary to confront and travel to their targets. However, in the film Predators, it is mentioned that they learn from the techniques and weapons of the notables who manage to defeat them and are constantly evolving in terms of procedures and possibly also in the improvements to their weapons.

Notables

Notables edit The so-called "Notables" are individuals of other species who have demonstrated praiseworthy honor and skill in the eyes of the Yautja, so they rise to a level above the rest of their species, abandoning the "trophy" stereotype and becoming seen as a warrior or hunter; they are considered untouchable by other Predators, forbidding their hunting; others become untouchable by defeating superior prey (such as xenomorphs). They are recognized because they generally receive as a prize the weapon of a previously defeated prey.

The first of all the Notables of the AVP universe was Mike Harrigan, who defeated a hunter in a hand-to-hand fight, receiving as a gift from the Elder of that expedition a pistol with an engraving that says: "Raphael Adolini, 1715" from the 18th century as recognition. Another well-known case in contemporary times was Alexa Woods, who accompanied a young hunter in his initiation, earning the right to be recognized as an initiated hunter and receiving as such the mark of the clan in addition to the personal spear of the Elder who commanded the party of the race.

do

They usually have several rituals in their society depending on the age of the Predator:

The initiation course, where young people are taught the art of hunting. The bleeding one, which is the graduation of the yautjas and their first hunt. The ritual of ascension, which will be achieved thanks to the difficulty of the hunts in which the yautja takes part. The hunting ritual is the cornerstone of their society. Castration, which occurs as a punishment in the event of a serious problem in compliance with the code. The braiding that the hunter shows. Courtship, where the male returns to his planet at the exact time and presents his trophies to win over the female. The councils that are held every decade before the procession and are presided over by the oldest yautjas. The funeral, which depends on the degree of importance of the hunter in his society, if he was not illustrious he is left in the same place where he died and if he has been honorable he is given the necessary honors.

Gods

Mab'ii'tang, a hero punished by the gods with immortality for demanding what was not his, since the greatest honor and glory of the Yautjas is to die fighting to impress Cetanu and win a place of honor in the afterlife, being immortal he is condemned to never receive his reward nor for his soul to rest. Mara'khen, god of storms and craftsmen. The first son of Kayana and Dto-hult'ah, and the one with the least demonic nature. He has four arms with a different weapon or tool in each. His symbol is a sword. The Horde, Kayana's thousands of demonic children. The stuff of nightmares. They are usually in the service of Cetanu and Lil-ka, bringing justice to those who have broken the laws. Occasionally they break free to cause trouble. They often spy for Kayana. Many wander the physical world telling tales and intervening in the affairs of mortals. Priestesses, the highest position a female can achieve and aspire to in their society, attend to the temples of their gods and possess an authority almost equal to that of the Elders and the respect of these, when they make a decision any male with a status equal to or lower than an Honorable one obeys it without question. High Priest, one of the few religious offices held by men and with authority over priestesses, although they are very rare. They serve the temple of Cetanu, and despite their religious life, they are known to be warriors above the ordinary, though they only hunt for religious reasons or to eliminate individuals or events of extreme gravity that are considered heretical or sinful to their society.

Rules

Laws edit They are creatures with a high sense of honor and an intellect superior to that of humans:

They do not attack pregnant women, unarmed individuals, the elderly, the sick, or children. Their code of honor demands that a defeat in combat or a failure in a hunt that puts them in danger of being discovered means their self-destruction. Taking the trophy of another dead Predator is considered an insult. It is not permitted to join a hunt of other warriors and clans or to hunt without their permission. Prey or beings of other species that defeat a Yautja in a hunt, as long as they are intelligent beings and not wild beasts, will be considered "Notable" (except for xenomorphs) and may not be hunted or attacked by another Yautja. If a Yautja kills another, he will cease to belong to the clan and will become a bad blood, being chased by other Yautjas until he is killed. If they break a rule they are exiled from the clan or may even pay with death.

culture

Culture edit In the films, the Predator society is shown to have a taste and preference for hunting other species (to collect their spines along with their skulls), as they have been hunting humans since at least the 18th century as stated in the film Predator 2, as well as Xenomorphs (aliens) and other species.

In Alien vs. Predator, it's explained that Earth was a kind of training ground, and they were the ones who taught ancient civilizations to build temples to worship them and serve as living incubators for the Aliens. They would visit Earth every 100 years and select humans for the hunt, creating the ultimate prey: the Alien. The winning Predator would be branded with the acid from the Alien's blood, drawing the symbol of their tribe as part of a ritual.

As has been presented in some comics, the culture of this race is extremely civilized and peaceful, although in the past they were a barbaric and violent community where war was common. This is because their race is aggressive and violent by nature, so to ensure the stability of society, hunting was established as a way to channel the instincts of individuals.

origin

Its name is Yautja Prime, a dry and arid planet with 2 stars, despite having these characteristics it hosts life. It is not only the home planet of the Yautja, but of many other minor species; it is a place of extreme heat, with intense and constant volcanic activity, this is the main reason why these creatures are attracted to places with a lot of heat and why their visual equipment is suitable for that purpose.

hunting targets

Their preferred targets are the Xenomorphs and the human species, with whom they have had encounters throughout history. They have had contact with humans since 14,000 years ago in Antarctica, passing through civilizations such as Ancient Egypt, Cambodian culture and the Aztecs.[8]

Additionally, they hunt various undefined alien species, as shown in Predator 2, when different strange skulls are displayed inside the ship as trophies, even the skull of a Xenomorph can be seen hanging. In the film Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, a wide variety of skulls can also be seen, including that of the species nicknamed Space Jockey (Engineer).

as they are

Physically they are humanoid in shape, but taller than humans (around 2.20 m (7′ 3″) or 2.40 m (7′ 10″)) and with a very different skull, since their head has small eyes with black sclera and green, red or yellow irises, capable of seeing only in the infrared and ultraviolet light spectrum, a nose consisting of slits, a mouth with enormous mobile cruciform jaws, a fairly developed hearing and strength superior to humans.

Their natural vision is based on thermographic perception, although they possess technology to optimize their visual spectrum and also see the different light and heat spectra of the environment they find themselves in. They breathe 1% more oxygen and 4% more nitrogen than humans. They are able to adapt to the Earth's atmosphere for up to a week, longer with breathing apparatus.[3] Their blood is carbon-based[4] and a partial ability to neutralize xenomorph acid. Their life is also longer, as they have the ability to extend the human lifespan.[5]

Most of their bodies are made up of pure muscle, allowing them to withstand severe physical punishment. They typically weigh between 140 kg (308 lb) and 190 kg (418 lb) and have a relatively stocky build due to their activity and diet. They have strong, black claws. Instead of hair, they have a crown of smooth-surfaced capillary ducts, thick at the top and tapering to a point (resembling dreadlocks). These ducts run from temple to temple at the nape of the neck and vary in color and shape depending on age and race. Their function is to regulate an individual's body heat because blood circulates through them, controlling heat depending on whether the temperature is high or low. Their skin is generally green, light or dark depending on the area, accompanied by brown, black, or green scales. Their hands are similar to those of humans.
