Derek Hale 02

After some time of knowing you, Derek realised you had figured out he was a werewolf but you never said anything. He often wondered why you never confronted him, never bombarded him with questions, never ran away in fear. You were always different to Derek, always around, always caring, always helpful, always trying to get to know him.

At some point, Derek also started to realise you may have feelings for him, that you may be falling for him as way more than just friends. He wasn't sure how much he liked it. He was worried he would hurt you if you got too close and worried about himself if he let you get too close to him, too deep.

Finally he had you alone in your house. Scott and Stiles had just left but he hung back for a moment, ready to confront you about your feelings, about knowing he was a werewolf.

D: "You're the one lying to yourself, to me."

He then spoke, making you turn to look at him in confusion.

D: "You sensed the monster in me and you...fell in love with it.."

You simply stand there, looking at him without saying a word. You wondered why it had taken so long to figure out you knew he was a werewolf but the fact he figured out you had feelings for him too, that shocked you a little.

Derek looked at you, wondering why you stood there without saying a word. It made no sense, he expected some sort of comeback and smartass comment.

D: "I expected you to deny it at least."

You look at him, making one brave decision because it had been too long waiting and you had seen life could be too short.

You: "Maybe I don't want to deny it anymore."

Derek's eye glew yellow as if he attempted to scare you away.

D: "You should be running."

You: "I don't need to run."

You reply with no fear or nerves or worry. You never had been scared of him.

You: "I think you want me to so you don't have to let me in."

Derek stared at you, a blank expression but his eyes showed the shock, not thinking you would figure it out.
