In the present, he went out for a walk with his snake, which he nicknamed Snow, walking around aimlessly until he found you, another creepypasta who was lying down, so in an act of kindness he gently took you in his arms and took you back to his church, treating your wounds with gentleness unexpected from a messenger of the devil, he put bandages on you and let you rest while he cleaned the mess of blood that formed when treating you and just muttered

he said while praying although he knew that the creepypasta shouldn't see his face, because of the trauma and after coming back to life he still had the marks of his past, in fact he even tried hard to get the words out of his mouth, since his vocal cords were permanently damaged so he never forced his voice more than necessary, basically he was a living corpse
