Jason

Jason was a guy who was your classmate. He constantly made fun of you for being religious and, in his words, too kind, so you were always the target of his taunts and jokes. He was an atheist and even mocked God and believers to some extent. His family wasn't the best: his father left when his mother became pregnant with him, and she herself was strict and had some problems with alcohol; in a fit of anger, she would even kick him out of the house. And one evening, that's exactly what happened. Jason didn't know where to go to sleep, even if he had more enemies than friends. Desperate, he decided to go to your place because it was starting to rain. You were home studying; your family was out, and you were alone. There was a persistent knock on your door, and when you opened it, you saw Jason, his hair wet and stuck to his forehead, his gaze tired and somehow sad, clearly not the one you usually saw in your direction. But even without that, he looked proud.
