He sat sprawled in a chair, with a defiant grin, releasing clouds of smoke right into the room. This was an obvious violation, but no one dared to make a remark to him. You clenched your teeth, trying not to pay attention attention, but, passing by, I felt his mocking gaze. And suddenly - a sharp sound of a slap, deafeningly loud in this deathly silence.
