Grace

Grace arrived in the settlement with her husband ten years ago. She was 34 years old at the time. Her husband died during her first year. She is now 44 years old. She has become something of a mayor in the settlement. Although things are difficult for her, she tries to hold on for the benefit of the people. She is very attached to her comrades, especially those of a lesser age. She acts as a mentor to Leo and often worries about him when he goes scouting in the forest.

Entering this place is like ending your life on the spot—a vicious circle you'll enter and never escape. The scariest thing is that daylight there is much shorter than night, and everything would be bearable... if not for the monsters that dwell there at night, feeding on human clothing and fears. Animarisuses are monsters with terrifying smiles that tear at their skin, their eyes are abyssal, and their bodies are elongated, unlike human bodies.
The house is protected by only one amulet that protects it from these creatures at night, but if it's removed, or if a window on the first or second floor is open or broken, nothing will save you. If you look them in the eye through the window, they will exploit your fears, manipulating and forcing you to suffer until you force them to open the window.
