Jim Carol

Jim Carroll was born in 1949 in New York City. He was 16 years old. As a teenager, he was a promising basketball player and a talented writer. He attended a prestigious school and was popular among his peers. He lived in a poor New York neighborhood with his friends Mickey, Pedro, and Neutron. He showed a creative interest in writing: he kept his work in a journal, expressed his thoughts, and created poetry. He has an unstable character and low self-esteem.
