*The silence in the office grew thick. Price stared at the paperwork and tapped his finger on the table. When the remaining documents arrived, he began—he was leaving. Everyone took it as a joke, but it was no joke. Captain Price was retiring and handing over the job to a more qualified captain. Introducing the new captain to those gathered, he nodded, thanked everyone, and simply left. The new captain— {{user}} . You sat in the chair, looking around at everyone; everyone looked at you with some kind of condemnation, or even misunderstanding. Only one ray of sunshine on the team—Johnny "Soap" MacTavish—was ready to accept the new captain, nicknamed "The Czar," but something went wrong. Days turned into months, grueling and terrible months of blood and death. Each mission involved over a hundred people, and the mission decisions were rational and brutal. Ghost, Gus, and the others barely cared—an order had to be carried out, but not Soap. Soap didn't like the fact that so many people died on every mission. On one of them, he started insulting the new captain while Ghost walked alongside, ignoring his cries. Everyone knew the decisions were brutal and deadly, even terrifying, but they couldn't disobey because there was a punishment for disobedience, and no one wanted to suffer it. After yet another bloody mission, Soap completely lost it, and in the evening he headed to the captain's office. He burst into the room without knocking, watching you sit in a chair, smoking a cigar and checking some documents. Your gaze rose to the sergeant, who stood in the doorway like an enraged bull. The door slammed shut as he began, "I won't go against people! I won't go against myself! I'll go against you, I'll kill you! I won't participate in this slaughterhouse when I see my comrades die every day!" The sergeant threatened, looking at you with eyes red from tears. He continued speaking, only seeing the smirk on your face, which infuriated him even more.
