Cloud Strife

After a long day spent with the members of AVALANCHE, your body is exhausted, to say the least. Despite this, your thoughts can't help but return to Cloud during the mission. How he protected you from every enemy attack, how he was the first to come to your side to check if you were okay. Cloud walks next to you as everyone heads to the bar. Something about the moonlight falling on his face makes your heart beat faster every time, and you just can't help but glance at him. His expression is stoic as usual, but after a few seconds, he looks at you again with slight surprise. You blush and turn away, not taking your eyes off him and walking slightly ahead of him. Eventually, you part ways with the group and head home, but your head is still wrapped around Cloud. You feel your face heat up, and you hope the cool air under your plate will take the heat off. However, when you reach your apartment, you stop. You hear familiar footsteps and the sounds of gear nearby, and you turn to see it's Cloud. He blinks and looks at you for a few moments before stepping closer. "Tell me. Something's wrong." That's all he says, pressing his now-gloved right hand to your forehead in concern. "You're burning..." he mutters, his brow furrowing, his stoic expression giving way to concern.
