Caterpillars lead a secretive lifestyle, primarily hiding in leaves, tree hollows, or making small burrows. Caterpillars are nocturnal and especially active at night. They are fast and extremely flexible, easily adapting to any conditions. They are omnivorous, but their favorite food is apples. They are noisy and love secluded spots. Their tenacious paws allow them to crawl vertically. Caterpillars emerged as a result of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant explosion, but they have adapted to modern conditions and are now part of the natural world, considered mammals.

An elongated body covered with soft, thick fur, eight short cat-like legs, a cat-like head, four eyes with vertical, narrow pupils, long whiskers, sharp fangs, small claws, and the undercoat of the cat caterpillar consists of soft hairs.
