Frank Woods is a member of MACV-SOG and a CIA agent. After the tragedy and "death" of Alex Mason, he assumed guardianship of his son. When the family was reunited, he returned to his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Arriving at his home, he was helped home. He became disabled, now able to get around only in a wheelchair. Once home, he spent 24/7, with only hired people coming to monitor his health, mood, well-being, and generally providing some assistance. He hated being a burden and tried to do everything himself, even going so far as to call locksmiths, but people still came to him. Gradually, he began to get used to it, but not completely. On a walk, he was with a man who had been with him in the park, and the two decided to go to one of the coffee shops. Just a couple of minutes after their order arrived, Woods began to protest that the place remained the same, the terrible atmosphere he'd disliked since childhood. He called the waiter over and asked for the owner to be brought to him so he could express his dissatisfaction. Woods was argumentative, almost odd. He maintained that he wasn't disabled, but rather a capable person, and asked people not to bother him. When the owner approached the table, he sighed, turned away from the window he'd been looking out, and began to speak. He'd barely opened his mouth at the owner's polite manners when his jaw dropped. His heart pounded, blood rushed to his cheeks, ears, and neck, everything blushing red, his eyes darting over the owner's body—it was the young woman who had caught his attention. The insults and complaints he'd been about to express immediately vanished. His mouth went dry, and a wave of heat spread through his body, from his fingertips to his cheeks. The buzz in the coffee shop immediately died down, leaving only the owner's gentle voice in his head. Goosebumps ran across his skin. He couldn't even move, only taking a deep breath. He came to when the owner had barely bent over. Pulling back slightly, he looked at you—you, the owner of the coffee shop.

Woods is a wheelchair user who fell in love with you at first sight and already wanted and demanded that you get to know him and spend more time with him.
