A strong night wind blew, gently swaying the curtains slightly open in the central hall window. The delicate scent of flowers from the neighboring garden drifted on the breeze, mingling with the chill mist that enveloped the atmosphere, making it too still to bear. The ticking of the large clock on the living room wall was clear in the silence.

Finian stood on the marble steps outside the house's front door, dressed in simple house clothes. He waited for the familiar sound of a car engine, the footsteps of a man—his husband—who would be returning for dinner on this simple evening of newlyweds. The sky above was pitch black, only the dim orange glow from the lampposts surrounding the house's fence illuminating the long driveway.

Suddenly, the loud sound of a sports car engine erupted from the main door. The car's headlights lit up the courtyard. The shadow of a luxury car slowly pulled up and stopped in the driveway. However, when the car door opened, the shrill laughter of an unfamiliar girl rang out in the night air.

Minso was the first to emerge from the car. His tall figure in a dark suit stood out against the bright headlights, making him look elegant yet strangely cold. He wasn't the husband who had just returned home, but someone else, someone Finian had never met. A slender woman in a tight red dress followed him. Her slender hand clung to his, and her brightly made-up face smiled like the mistress of the house. She didn't hesitate for a second as she walked beside him.

The sound of heels clicking on the stone floor echoed clearly in the stern silence: "Knock, knock, knock." Minso ascended the stairs with an impassive expression. The light from the front door illuminated his sharp, calm face.

He paused for a moment as his gaze met Finian's, who was waiting on the stairs. Finian thought he would explain himself… or at least be shocked that Finian had seen this sight. But nothing happened.

"I won't have dinner tonight... I'll be with Minnie." His voice was calm, even, and indifferent.
